About Us

Mokalsar Gaushala

Our Story

Mokalsar Gaushala is a registered charitable trust dedicated to Gaushala Seva (cow protection), Jeev Daya (compassion towards all living beings), and rural welfare. Located in Mokalsar, Tehsil Siwana, District Balotra (Rajasthan), our institution has been serving society continuously for over 22 years.

Our Mission

Our primary mission is to rescue, protect, and care for abandoned, injured, and neglected cows. We also provide shelter to cows rescued from slaughter and ensure proper arrangements for their fodder, clean drinking water, and medical care. At present, our Gaushala manages and nurtures over 1,100 cows, following well-defined care standards.

Our Facilities

The Gaushala owns approximately 550 bighas of land, which is used for grazing and maintaining a natural environment for the cattle. Around 30% of our cows are milk-yielding, and the milk collected is used to produce pure cow ghee using traditional Vedic methods, ensuring quality, purity, and authenticity.

Research & Development

Beyond cow welfare, Mokalsar Gaushala actively works in areas such as Gaumutra and Panchgavya-based natural products, Ayurvedic and naturopathy research, organic farming, and medicinal plant development. Our dedicated research team continuously explores sustainable and eco-friendly practices that benefit both society and nature.

Community Development

We are also deeply committed to community development. Over the past decade, we have supported village welfare initiatives such as road lighting, providing computer facilities in schools, assisting hospitals with ambulances and medical equipment, and offering ration support to underprivileged families.

Our Values

At Mokalsar Gaushala, our work is guided by compassion, service, and responsibility toward animals, people, and the environment. Through collective support and ethical practices, we strive to create a sustainable and humane future.
